Benefactor, patron, season and general admission tickets will go on sale December 1, and are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth.
The box office is staffed on weekdays, starting 
December 1, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM and 6:30 - 7:30 PM, and one hour before each performance.   For reservations, call our Box Office at 641-792-1230.
You are welcome to leave a message with your ticket request and phone number and the staff will reserve your tickets and call you back with confirmation.

This charming musical takes a funny, heartwarming, and entertaining look at all the wonderful and stressful chaos that crashes down every December. Using vivid storytelling this show is primed to lift the Newton community’s spirits and spread Christmas cheer.

~~~ Audition Information ~~~

September 28 & 29, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Parts Available: 3 men and 2 women (cast may be expanded)

Please prepare a short song to sing (under 2 minutes) and come prepared for movement and scene work. A pianist will be available to accompany audition pieces. Performing with a backing track, or a-cappella is also welcome. Singing ability is preferred but not required for all roles.

 
Roles Descriptions
Phil (Fred in Kindergarten) 60-70, educated, paternal, witty, and a bit of a curmudgeon. He and Kathleen are paired as a couple through much of the show.
Nick (Ed in Kindergarten) Mid-40s-early 50s, wry, but with a warm/paternal side. An excellent comedian with dramatic substance. He and Dawn are paired as a couple in "Item #7."
Rusty (Branislav in Kindergarten) Mid-30s-early 40s, soulful and wise for his age, but with a twinkle in his eye and a good sense of humor. A strong singer.
Dawn (Jill in Kindergarten) Mid-30s-early 40s, warm, versatile, self-confident, with a true spark of life. A very good comedian.
Peggy (Kathleen in Kindergarten) Late 50s-late 60s, maternal, witty and warm, with an air of wisdom from knowing how to live a full life. She has a real depth of character as well as a great sense of humor. Also a bit of a curmudgeon.
