The Newton Community Teatre has been organized since 1963. NCT produced five productions per year with four shows as part of the season ticket package and one show as a fundraiser, along with children's summer workshops. This year's productions include Snoopy, American Dream, Summer Showcase, The House of Dracula,  and I'll Be Home for Christmas. The theatre is self-supporting through ticket sales, playbill advertising, rentals and contributions. NCT is governed by a twelve member board, each with a three year term rotating 4 members per year. Why Do Hero's was a children's production that we offered to the school systems in Jasper County. Many children have benefited from the theatre production.
